Eastbourne Car Auctions races ahead to new premises


Eastbourne's only car auction has had an exciting start to 2012 and shown its on-going commitment to the town by moving to bigger and better premises in Brampton Road, Hampden Park.

Eastbourne Car Auctions (ECA) is both family owned and run and has been operating very successfully in Eastbourne for over 45 years; firstly in the town centre before moving to its former and well known home on Lottbridge Drove.

The independent vehicle auction company specialises in the sale of a variety of ex fleet and commercial vehicles including a large selection of late low mileage vehicles every week.  ECA is one of only four auctions recommended with confidence by the AA.

With two auctions a week, on Wednesdays at 11am and Fridays at 6pm, ECA sells in excess of 7,500 cars and vans each year. 

Managing Director at ECA, Jon Mitchell, said:
"We are very pleased to have moved to our new home.  Our new and larger site means we can offer customers an even better service with a wider variety of vehicles than ever before.  Clients come from far and wide to bid at our twice-weekly auctions, which are open to both motor trade and private buyers.

“Wednesday's auction is aimed at a national market, selling fleet and lease vehicles, and Friday's auction is a more local sale that includes local dealership part-exchanges and vehicles entered by the public.  We also have a specific sale for commercial vehicles on the 1st Wednesday of every month.”

Thanks to a significant investment in technology, the ECA website – www.ebca.co.uk – now allows customers to view and bid on all available stock using live bid software, allowing seamless integration with their other services.
